9Cares Colorado Shares Food Drive Success!

Boy Scout Troop hauls in more than 3,500 pounds of food for Fresh Harvest Food Bank

Local Boy Scout Troop 633 made quite an impact for Fresh Harvest Food Bank on November 15 during the statewide 9Cares Colorado Shares Food Drive. The drive was coordinated at the King Soopers on University Boulevard in Highlands Ranch and was the most successful 9Cares food drive in Fresh Harvest Food Bank (and Panther Pantry) history!

On November 15, Boy Scout Troop 633 braved the cold and snow all day to collect items for Fresh Harvest Food Bank during the statewide 9Cares, Colorado Shares food drive. This one-day event will stock our shelves, and allow us to provide food to other non-profit agencies throughout the Douglas County and surrounding areas.

Thanks to the following boys who helped this year: Zach York, Nick Zizka, Shawn Cousins, Caden Foster, Andrew Cozad, Nate Polakowaki, Grant Compton, Vance B., and Bearett Long.
