Think you have what it takes to use a few items from our shelves and create a meal for under $10?
Take a picture and email it and the recipe to firstname.lastname@example.org
We will choose one challenge recipe each month and feature it on our blog and social media outlets!
Here at Fresh Harvest Food Bank we are always looking for ways to help our families (and fellow community members) create new and exciting recipes that help them bring some variety into their everyday meals. In order for us to do this, we are reaching out to you, the Douglas County community, to help us create new recipes for our families (and others who happen to visit this site) that incorporate fresh vegetables, fruits, and the pantry staples found on our shelves.
The “challenge” has a few guidelines to help you design a recipe that is not only creative, but budget-friendly as well.
If you are up for the Recipe Challenge, download it, give one to a friend, and get cooking!
