EduKit, the leading supplier of school supplies, donates 275 school supply kits to Fresh Harvest Food Bank families
Since our transformation from a pantry into a food bank (while maintaining a pantry too), we have been very fortunate to be able to stretch our arms out wider to help even more people in our community. We are constantly looking for new ways to ease burdens and provide bright rays of hope wherever we go. One of the ways in which we help, is by providing school supplies for our registered families with school-aged children. Because our nets have been cast a bit wider, we currently see approximately 275 children in our program. The majority of these children reside within the Douglas County boundary, however some do not quite fit within our borders. This doesn’t stop us from providing them with what they need for school.
Due to a generous donation from EduKit, one of the leading school supply kit suppliers, Fresh Harvest Food Bank is proud to partner with EduKit to supply 275 elementary supply kits for Fresh Harvest Food Bank children.
“Children are our future and every child deserves a chance to be successful in their education,” says Patti Law, account executive for Edukit. “We believe that, and we donate thousands of dollars each year to support children in need with their school supplies. Edukit is grateful to have the opportunity to partner with Fresh Harvest Food Bank and we look forward to developing a strong relationship in the future.”
Thank you EduKit, we appreciate your kindness and generosity and look forward to working with you in the years to come!
